No legal entity has been registered yet. These terms are published as an operating commitment by the service operator. The operator must supply the entity name, address and jurisdiction before these terms bind anyone. Until such a legal entity is registered, these terms represent the intended operating principles of the service.

Service description

Tlsscope is a diagnostic tool that performs a single TLS certificate inspection against a hostname you provide. It checks the certificate chain the server presents on port 443 and reports the result. The tool has no accounts, no persistence, no scheduled work, and no email capability.

No accounts or registration

No account creation, login, or registration is required to use Tlsscope. The tool does not store any information you submit between sessions. Every check is independent.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Tlsscope only to inspect hostnames that you own or have authorisation to inspect. You may not:

Use the tool to enumerate subdomains or scan ranges of IP addresses
Use the tool for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to disrupt or overload the inspection service

Limitation of liability

Tlsscope is provided as a diagnostic aid. Certificate information reported by the tool reflects what the server presented at the time of the check. The operator makes no guarantee about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any report. You use the tool at your own discretion.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. In no event shall the operator be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this service.

No monitoring or alerts

Tlsscope does not monitor certificates, send alerts, or schedule re-checks. It answers when you submit a hostname. Do not rely on this tool as your sole method of certificate expiration tracking.

Intellectual property

The Tlsscope name, logo, and website are provided as a service. No licence or right to use the branding or tool in a commercial product is granted without express permission.

Billing and subscriptions

Free tier. The core Tlsscope certificate inspection is free. No payment is required and no billing information is collected.

Pro subscription. Tlsscope Pro is under development and not yet available for purchase. When launched, Pro will be a monthly subscription at the price listed on the pricing page. The subscription will renew automatically each month until cancelled.

Failed payments. If a payment fails (card declined, expired, insufficient funds), the subscription will remain active through a short grace period. After the grace period expires without a successful retry, access to Pro features will be suspended. The account will not be charged again until payment information is updated and the charge succeeds.

Refunds. Pro subscription fees are refundable within 14 days of the initial purchase, provided no inspection quota has been fully consumed. No refunds are issued for partial months after the 14-day period. Free tier use is always without charge and no refund applies.

No payment processor connected. No payment provider (such as Stripe) is currently connected to this service. The Pro subscription cannot be purchased today. Any checkout form on the site is a demonstration of the intended flow and does not process real payments. This section describes the intended billing policy; it will take effect when a payment processor is connected and Pro is launched.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service develops. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

Governing law has not been specified. The operator has not selected a jurisdiction. This section will be updated when a legal entity is registered and a jurisdiction is assigned.
